Central Macedonia consists of seven regional units: Chalkidiki, Imathia, Kilkis, Pella, Pieria, Serres, and Thessaloniki. It is home to Greece's "second city", the historical capital of Thessaloniki.

The island complex of the Dodecanese in the south-eastern Aegean is the sunniest corner in Greece. The Region of East Macedonia and Thrace occupies the northeastern part of Greece. It is bounded on the east by Turkey, on the north by Bulgaria, on the west by the Region of Central Macedonia, on the southwest by the Aegean Sea, and the southeast by the Thracian Sea.

The North Aegean Islands are a group of beautiful and diverse islands situated in the northern part of the Aegean Sea. Each island has its own identity. Each is a destination with unique wild beauty and rich cultural heritage. Largely unexplored, this cluster of islands may not be tourist-magnets but that is exactly what gives them their charm.

The Saronic and Argolic Gulf are often referred to as one: the Argosaronic. The stretch of sea linking the Attica shores to the Peloponnese shores is known as the Argosaronic Gulf.  It is close to the port of Pireaus and contains a group of small islands:  Aegina, Hydra, Spetses, Poros, Angistri, Methana, and Salamina.

The peninsula of Attica has much more to offer than the city center of Athens. The Athenian Riviera, the south coastal road from the center of Athens to Cape Sounion, has many luxurious hotels and lovely beaches.

Epirus, located in northwestern Greece, has stunning landscapes, historical treasures, and outdoor adventures. The proximity between the mountainous and coastal areas allows visitors to experience both the authenticity of a mountainous destination and the enchanting coastal landscapes within a short time.
