By plane
Every day thousands of visitors arrive in Crete with international flights. In Crete there are 3 major airports, Heraklion International Airport (Nikos Kazantzakis), Chania Airport (Nikos Daskalogiannis) and Sitia Airport. All the airports are located in a short distance from the cities.
By boat
There are daily ferry-boats from the port of Piraeus to Crete. In Crete there are 6 ports for ferries: Port in Kissamos (Kastelli), Souda (14 km from Chania), Rethymno, Heraklion, Agios Nikolaos and Sitia.
