With an overview of the small islands of “Panagia” and “Agios Nicolaos”, supported by the magnificent background of the dominating mountains of Epirus, one can encounter the “Terra Del Nonno” Villa Resort. It comprises of three different buildings that can be used either separately or together, in order to suit the needs of all guests. The motto you will grow to follow, when staying with us, is that luxury must not only accompany our everyday life, but also our vacation.

In the establishment one can find the main Villa, called “Terra Del Nonno”, that can welcome up to six guests, the “Portobello” mini-suite, that an sleep two guests and the “Belvedere” suite, that can host four guests.
The main sense one will come up with is contemporary decoration, with wooden, glass and colorful details, fully assimilated and in line with the architectural character of Paxos Island.

Gaios is the main port of Paxos, as the center of life of Paxos. When you arrive at the north Gaius enter a beautiful passage that resembles river. Then you meet the island of Virgin Mary, where a remarkable monastery enclosed by a whitewashed wall, and the island of Agios Nikolaos with its Venetian castle built in 1423, well hidden in the trees.

The island of Paxos is mentioned by Homer and Plutarch.
In Greek mythology, Poseidon created the island by striking Corfu with his trident, so that he and his wife Amphitrite could have some peace and quiet. Phoenicians are considered to be the first settlers on island Paxos. The name of the island is believed to have origin from the word “Pax”, which means slate in Phoenician language.
The capital of the island – Gaios or Paxos is a very cosmopolitan city, built around a small area on the waterfront, surrounded by two islands – Panagia and Agios Nikolaos.
The island is known for its “Blue Caves”, which are visited by many tourists every year. You can visit some of them by sightseeing boat.
The beauty of this place is captivating… huge cliffs with darker and lighter shades and the color of the sea bottom which is beyond words!

Acess: Paxos Island located in the southern part of the island of Corfu, 7 km from the island of Corfu, 8 km from mainland coast of Greece and 12 km from the town of Parga.
Paxos can be reached via Igoumenitsa and Corfu through the Lefkimmi and alternatively from Parga by boat.
